MARICLE is a little girl we met in 2014, when she was rushed to the Katutura Hospital (a public hospital in Windhoek) for meningitis. After a long stay in the hospital she was discharged and the problem seemed to have been solved, but, unfortunately, in August 2015 we were informed that Maricle had been admitted to the Hospital again. GEROME is a child we met at the Orlindi Place of Safety in August 2010. At that time, he was still forced to live with a stoma, which he was actually doing since his birth, due to a severe malformation. Gerome's health problem was so complex that it would require a long stay in Namibia on part of some members of our Association. For this reason, in 2013 some members of Happydu ETS decided to plan a longer stay in Namibia to start the necessary practices to help Gerome. Read more...
